When it comes to planning for a vacation, the choice of vacation destination on the kind of terrain one is fond of. There are some people, who prefer the mountains and snow, while there are others, who prefer the pristine beaches. Well I belong to the later category. I like the sun and the beaches, where I can laze all around all day. Often times, I wish I could live on one of the tropical islands forever. The tropics simply rejuvenate me. There are a number of tropical vacation destinations, that one can choose from. For me all of them are the best tropical vacation destinations, as they have all that I like, namely the sun and the beaches and of course not to forget the food. Tropical food is simply to die for. To sum up, my idea of a tropical vacation is to eat, rest, eat, rest…. and the cycle continues. (wish it was a never ending cycle! Sigh!!)

Each of the best tropical vacation spots has its own specialty. Some people choose their vacation destination depending on their own likings. Andaman and Nicobar Islands
If you are looking for a naturalists heaven, then look no beyond the Andaman and Nicobar islands. The greenery, clean environment with unpolluted fresh air drives a lot of people to this place. It has the tropical rain forests with a wide range of flora and fauna. If your partner prefers the mountains and you prefer the beaches, then these islands have the best of both of them. There are mountains, which are fringed with coconut palms and the flat crescent shaped beaches as well. If you like snorkeling, scuba diving, camping, etc., then you will not be disappointed either. The only downside of these islands is that one has to spend a lot of money, when one wants to have a vacation there. The ideal time to go for a vacation to these islands is between May and September, when the rain Gods are busy showering in some other parts of the world.

Jamaica although very small in size is well-known in all parts of the world for its strong vibrant culture. However, it is slowly emerging as a tourism center, yet retains the old world charm. One can choose to do a number of activities on these islands like scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, night voyages, etc. If you are fond of corals, dolphins, sea turtles, sea urchins, etc., then you will not be disappointed.
